When we say baby, of course we mean the furry kind — her puppy, Colombo, was super patient while his mama showed off her sexy legs as the dynamic duo waited for their Uber. When she caught up with Life & Style exclusively at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Saturday, June 1, she dished about how she takes some era-specific info from one of the most stylish ladies of all time.

“Kinda going ‘80s. That’s my go to. Trying to be Princess Diana at every turn,” EmRata dished about her outfit for the event, and subsequently, her mindset whenever she puts together a ~lewk~.

But what about when the part-time actress wants to dress down? Her brand has since expanded from solely swimwear to women’s loungewear and lingerie, so she definitely knows a thing or two about keeping it causal.

“I love a bodysuit with jeans obviously and a blazer is always the best — the most comfortable,” she revealed. “For styling it up, we have some rompers that I love with a slide heel and big earrings and a belt.”

“I think I really love the idea that bodysuits are something … Judith Light kind of came up with this,” Emily explained her love for the one-piece. “She was like you know you start life out in a bodysuit and I’m 70-years-old and it’s my favorite piece still.”

“I think women just undervalue the simplicity of a good staple like that. I just like the narrative of it taking us through life,” she said. Much like that sweet pup she’s holding in her arms, huh? Talk about a good staple!
