Farrah Abraham Spills the Spooky Tea on What She and Daughter Sophia Are Being for Halloween
When it comes to celebrities who love (love, love) All Hallows’ Eve, Farrah Abraham most definitely tops the list — and of course, her daughter, Sophia, follows suit. “Halloween is like my favorite thing! I’ve already started to celebrate,” the longtime reality star gushed to Life & Style at WE tv’s Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition premiere.
“This year we mixed it up, we’re going to all the theme parks in California — Horror Nights, Scary Farm — you name it, and we’re doing it,” Farrah continued. Ummm, it sounds like someone deserves the Coolest Mom of the Year Award, ASAP.
As for Farrah and Sophia’s Halloween costumes? Well, there’s a lot involved! When you’re a genuine Halloween enthusiast, dressing up once a year simply doesn’t cut it. “We just did Morticia and Wednesday the other night at Horror Nights,” the Ex on the Beach alum explained. “I always say ‘let’s do something together, let’s ensemble’ … but Sophia likes to do her own thing a lot.”
Considering Sophia turned 10 years old in May, we aren’t entirely surprised to hear that she’s looking to do her own thing this Halloween. That said, we do hope she and her famous mama end up deciding on at least one more mother-daughter costume.
Speaking of mommy-daughter costumes, Farrah has great advice for parents trying to come up with cute looks. “I definitely have to say, what are recent and upcoming films? That’s where we get our inspiration from. Sophia has also been into Stranger Things and wore it to Disneyland, so I think kids will also be into Stranger Things,” Farrah suggested.
Good thinking, ladies! Stranger Things offers a number of costume ideas, including Eleven, Hopper and if you’re especially crafty, a Demogorgon. Lastly, Farrah dished on what her solo costume might be. After all, once she’s done celebrating with Sophia, it’s time for adult-o-ween.
“Maybe me solo would be dressing up like a sexy mouse — like Mean Girls. I don’t know! When it’s mommy’s night out, I think the sexier the better.”
