Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Marriage ‘Gets Stronger Every Year Because They Work at It’
Twenty-two years of marriage is nothing to laugh at — especially in Hollywood! While Sarah Michelle Gellar joked on the Today show that “separate bathrooms” are what has kept her relationship with Freddie Prinze Jr. going strong, that’s just one of the many things the actress, 48, insists on, a source exclusively tells Life & Style. “The others include open communication, date nights without the kids, not going to bed angry and a pact they made when they first got married to stick it out no matter what.”
Of course, no relationship is perfect. Not even Freddie, 49, and Sarah’s. However, “their marriage gets stronger every year because they work at it,” notes the source. “They’ve always been in it for the long haul.”
