Garth Brooks’ Sexual Assault Scandal ‘Stressful’ for Trisha Yearwood and ‘the Whole Family’
Garth Brooks is being accused of sexual assault by a former employee. The hair and makeup artist — who prefers to remain anonymous and filed her bombshell lawsuit under the name “Jane Roe” on October 3 — alleges that the country music star, 62, raped her in an LA hotel suite during a business trip in May 2019.
She also claims Garth undressed himself in her presence, exposing his genitals and buttocks, groped her breasts while she worked, sent her sexually explicit texts that he allegedly later deleted off her phone, and spoke to her about his sexual fantasies, including wanting a “threesome” with her and his wife of nearly 19 years, Trisha Yearwood, 60.
Garth denies the shocking claims and even filed a complaint against his accuser back in September, alleging that she attempted to extort money from him before filing her suit.
“For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars,” Garth said in a statement. “I trust the system, I do not fear the truth, and I am not the man they have painted me to be.”
“Trisha is obviously upset,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style of Garth’s sexual assault scandal. “It’s a stressful time for her and the whole family.”
