Gretchen Rossi Hopes to Welcome Baby No. 1 With Slade Smiley After IVF (EXCLUSIVE)
She would make the greatest mother! In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi opened up about her plans to undergo IVF, in hopes of welcoming a baby with her longtime love, Slade Smiley.
"I am praying that we can have at least two babies — if I had the ideal situation, of course a boy and a girl would be wonderful, but as the saying goes, 'Tell God your plans and watch him laugh.' So, I will be happy and blessed with everywhere he thinks is best for us," she said via e-mail while promoting her Gretchen Christine for Twila True Beauty collaboration. "I used to [want] four, but now I would be happy if we could just have one."
This will be Gretchen's first child, while Slade has two sons, Gavin and Grayson. They also underwent the IVF process three years ago, and now feel ready to try again at expanding their family. The blonde beauty first shared her news back in February during an interview with [The Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5372795/Gretchen-Rossi-flaunts-flat-abs-talking-baby-plans.html?ito=social-twitterdailymailceleb#ixzz56dLlLeKK)_. "We have had good feedback from our doctors about our bodies and 'God willing' I can get pregnant in 2018," she said at the time. "I know that Slade and I would make great parents because we both love kids and I feel like I am a great mom to our three dogs, so, let’s give it a shot."
Now, will the lovebirds finally tie the knot in the midst of this process? "Right now we are putting our resources towards having a baby and who knows?" the reality star shared. "Maybe we will just be like Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn or Orpah Winfrey and Steadman Graham who have just been together for years." However, if they do have a wedding, the former reality star shared that she's "sure [she] would invite some of our friends from the show."
