Grocery store Joe Amabile from Bachelor in Paradise made his Dancing with the Stars debut on Monday, Sept. 24, and it was definitely a sight to see! The 31-year-old from Chicago, IL, danced the Quickstep to “Fish out of Water” by Leo Soul with his partner Jenna Johnson. Watch the video below to see Grocery store Joe’s first DWTS performance! 

While Bachelor Nation loved Joe’s moves, it looks like the judges didn’t exactly agree. Joe and Jenna earned a 14/30 — which ended up being the lowest score of the night! 

Whether you loved it or hated it, you’ve gotta appreciate his efforts to incorporate his grocery store into the mix. The duo’s performance opened with them pushing two shopping carts down a ~fake~ supermarket aisle, and it was too cute. Joe’s BIP girlfriend Kendall Long seemed to love it because she was rooting for her man all night. “Monday is here!!!” she tweeted earlier that day. “And that means Joe dances on stage tonight for #DWTS Be sure to VOTE.” She also shared some cute snaps on Instagram with her man after his dance. Are they couple goals or what?

Chris Harrison first announced that Grocery Store Joe would be appearing on DWTS during the Bachelor In Paradise finale. The host knew it would be difficult for Kendall and Joe to do long distance, so he figured it’d be easier for the couple if they could spend more time in the same state! It looks like Kendall and Joe are clearly enjoying their time together — and we couldn’t be happier! Now, in addition to rooting for Kendall and Joe to make it #alltheway, we can root for Joe to take home the Mirrorball trophy. You got this, Joe!
