Hannah Brown Shuts Down Alan Bersten Romance Rumors: ‘We Have a Friendship That Is Great’
Strictly platonic! Bachelorette star Hannah Brown answered the question on everyone’s mind: What is going on with her and her Dancing With the Stars partner, Alan Bersten? Although the two are forming a strong bond, their chemistry ends on the dance floor.
“We are dance partners and we have the best time together and we have a friendship that is great,” the 25-year-old reality starlet told Life & Style and other reporters about the dance pro, also 25, during the live taping on September 30.
Fans have been shipping the partners since the season began, but the duo has stood firm that they are just pals. Even last year’s winner, Bobby Bones, weighed in on the dating rumors and finds it pretty unlikely. “They’re not dating. I mean they tried to rumor me with Sharna [Burgess] because we were both single,” the 39-year-old recalled about his partner last season while promoting his partnership with Dog Chow for the “Service Dog Salute” campaign.
The radio DJ noted that he is friendly with the dance pro and thinks that he will most likely stay away from showmances after his relationship with Alexis Ren. “Alan dated his partner last year. I don’t know if that’d be a good look for him to just date his partners … Maybe it’d be the best look for him. I don’t know!” Bobby continued. “Look, I know Alan. I don’t feel like they’re dating and if you get two single people, you’re just going to assume that they’re together. I don’t think they’re dating, but it’s a very intimate thing. You’re so close with that person the whole time so it’ll be interesting to see what happens.”
As for Hannah, she’s not actively trying to find love at the moment. During an Instagram Q&A on September 9, the reality babe got very candid after a fan asked if she wants to “get back into dating.” She explained, “Not my top priority, but you never know when the right guy will come along. I’m focused on myself right now! I don’t need a man, but it’s a desire of my heart to live life with someone by my side. One day.”
