In need of fitness motivation? Look no further than The Voice judge Blake Shelton to inspire you to lose weight! The 41-year-old country-music star lost a ton of weight and now fans are dying to know what his secret was.

After divorcing Miranda Lambert in 2015, Blake started shedding pounds… fast. Some were worried that he was doing something unhealthy to lose the weight, but it turns out he was relying on good ole’ diet and exercise.

“He’s working out and taking care of himself,” a friend told People. “He worked out before, but now he has more time and he’s just in a really healthy place.” The star stopped molding his schedule around someone else and put in the time (and effort!) to make a change. “He’s putting energy into his music and his health. He looks fantastic.”

But, it hasn’t always been easy for the star! A lot of people would rather eat a burger than a salad, or spend an hour watching TV the at the gym. Blake is the same way yet he still found a way to stay motivated and committed to his goals. His rep explained, “He’s doing the two things he hates to do— diet and exercise.”

Now that he’s healthier, he’s been dedicated a lot of his time to his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani. Life & Style exclusively revealed that the couple has plans to have children together. Gwen’s hoping to have a daughter because she’s confident that Blake would be wonderful with a girl. Plus, she’s already has mom to sons Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 3. “Gwen knows he will be very protective of their daughter,” a source shared. “He’d want her to be [safe and secure] her entire life.” We wish them all the happiness!
