It’s almost time! The 2019 Billboard Music Awards are happening live from Las Vegas on Wednesday, May 1, starting at 8 p.m., and it’s bound to be an interesting night in music you won’t want to miss. To experience the anticipated show from the comfort of your couch, you can tune in to NBC or you can watch online by visiting the network’s official website and logging in with your TV cable provider.

This year, Kelly Clarkson will not only be performing, but also hosting. There’s a wide range of your fave stars who are expected to take the stage as well. Taylor Swift is set to open the show with her very first performance of her latest single “ME!” featuring Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie. Other artists like BTS, Halsey, Ciara and Ariana Grande, who was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year in 2018, will be performing too. Another crowd favorite is the Jonas Brothers, who will take the stage for the first time at an award show since getting back together after nearly six years.

If one of your favorite celebs isn’t performing, chances are they are either presenting or nominated for an award. A-listers like Sophie Turner, Olivia Wilde and Chrissy Metz will be presenting, while Travis Scott, Drake, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper could be taking a few awards home.

We can’t forget about Cardi B, who is leading with the most nominations at the BBMAs this year. The Bronx native, 26, received 21 nods. She’s “missing the record for most nominations set by Drake and The Chainsmokers, who each had 22 in 2017,” according to Billboard.

It’s been an amazing year for the “I Like It” rapper who recently won her first Grammy in February for Best Rap Album. When it comes to her personal life, she’s thriving there too. Cardi can’t help but often gush about her daughter, Kulture, or hubby Offset both on special media and in public. We can’t wait to see what goes down during the show!
