In-Laws Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz Step Out for a Girls’ Night — ‘Their Friendship Is Genuine’
Unlike other famous in-laws (you know who you are), Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie are actually as thick as thieves! In fact, the dynamic duo, 46 and 37, was recently spotted enjoying dinner at Eataly in LA without their rocker hubbies, Benji and Joel Madden.
“Despite their hectic schedules, Cameron and Nicole still manage to find the time to enjoy girls’ nights out!” a source told Life & Style, while an eyewitness said, “You can tell their friendship is genuine and not just for show as they were talking about how they’d missed their weekly get-togethers!”
In addition to Cameron being Nicole’s bestie, she’s also an amazing aunt to the designer’s two kids — Harlow, 11, and Sparrow, 9. “Cameron adores Nicole’s kids and loves spending time with them. She treats them as her own!” the source continued. Sigh. Can you imagine just casually having a Hollywood icon as an aunt? Can’t relate.
Speaking of some more things we can’t relate to, the aforementioned eyewitness went on to reveal that the Madden/Richie/Diaz family has some big vacation plans on the horizon. “Nicole and Cameron were excitedly planning a family beach vacation for this coming summer and discussed all kinds of glamorous destinations, including Hawaii, The Bahamas and Mexico.”
That sounds divine! We wonder if Nicole’s little sister, Sofia Richie, will be invited. Oh, and how about her longtime beau, Scott Disick? Come on, why not make it an extended family affair?! TBH, we totally think Scott, 35, and Sofia, 20, could benefit from spending time with a big family. After all, while The Lord may not have siblings of his own, he’s what we like to call “Kar-Jenner Lite,” which means Sofia will eventually be sort of in-laws with that whole family. Better to rip the Band-Aid off now, y’all.
