*Insert “not pregnant, just eatin’ good” meme here.* On Saturday, April 27, Katy Perry took the stage at the 2019 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 50th Anniversary rocking a leather, piano-themed jumpsuit. Just in case the singer’s tight ensemble wasn’t enough to convince fans that she and fiancé Orlando Bloom aren’t expecting their first child together, Katy addressed the pregnancy rumors directly.

According to OK!, Katy joked that her bigger belly was a result of eating too much southern food. Girl, we hear that. “I want to let it be known that I am not pregnant,” the 34-year-old said while holding her stomach. “This is just yesterday, and I am proud of it.” While we have no doubt that Katy would make a terrific mother, we’re pretty relieved to hear that celebrities are just as susceptible to food babies as us average folk.

To be fair, though, just because Katy says she isn’t expecting right now, doesn’t mean she and her soon-to-be hubby, 42, haven’t thought about it. “Katy wants to start a family and Orlando is on board,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “She wants to wait until after they’re married, but that’s not written in stone.”

“The buzz that Katy might already be pregnant started when she showed up at Kanye West’s Sunday church service wearing a dress with a flowy shirt over it,” the source noted. “It was a pretty weird cover-up. So, of course, everyone started talking. It was distracting … distracting in a way that it looked like she was trying to hide something.”

No tea, no shade, but Katy has a pretty, er, quirky sense of style. With that, we hardly think anyone should be looking for pregnancy clues via her wardrobe.
