Oh man, here we go. YouTuber Tana Mongeau shared an Instagram DM from her “husband,” Jake Paul, where he seemingly wants her to take him back on February 1 — and we don’t exactly know what to make of the message. The vlogger couple announced they were going on “a break” at the beginning of 2020.

In a textless tweet posted by the 21-year-old starlet in the wee hours of the morning, her ex, 22, responded “yes” to her poll on her Instagram Stories that night when they went out with Nikita Dragun after Jake’s boxing fight in Miami. In the poll, Tana asked, “Should I take him back?”

An hour later, the blonde beauty also tweeted some timely lyrics from one of the greats, Whitney Houston. “And IIIIIIIIIIIIII will alwaaaaays loooove yoooooooouuuuuu,” she wrote, which … hey, the timing is interesting.

A few hours prior to her Jake tweet, Tana seemed to be loving the single life, though. “Single Tana [really] does thrive,” she tweeted at 11 p.m. on January 31. “Solitude is EVERYTHING TO ME [RIGHT NOW].”

Plus, earlier in the day, before the party started, she got sentimental about her love life on Twitter. “For me, I’ll never be able to stop caring about people with the flip of a switch,” she explained. “I’ll always see whatever good I originally saw in them [and] love that [and] fight for that. I think it’s my downfall [though]! 9 a.m. thoughts! Hehe I’m so quirky I’m not like most girls.”

In late January, Jake spoke with Life & Style exclusively about the state of his relationship with the MTV starlet. “We’re super friendly,” he dished, assuring they were on “great terms” and “figuring it out.”

“I think it was a weight lifted off of our shoulders when we made that decision. And we kind of remember where we started at which was friends,” he continued, before explaining that he was excited to see her at his fight. “She’s coming to the fight so we’ll be able to hang out. But, it’s also been hard because, like, I’ve been so focused. Like, I was in Big Bear, California, training nonstop for the last four months.”

Luckily, it seems like things went almost too well after the match. “But, it will be good for us. Like, after I win the fight, to just hang out, maybe, and just chat and be around all our best friends and such,” he told LS before the fight — and it looks as though that’s exactly what happened.

It remains to be seen what happens with this duo, but either way, we’re along for the ride.
