‘Jamie and Doug Plus One’ Clip Exposes Jamie Otis’ Pregnancy Fears (EXCLUSIVE)

Reality show veteran Jamie Otis is returning to our screens in her new Lifetime show — Jamie and Doug Plus One — which follows the 31-year-old star and her husband Doug Hehner during the pregnancy and birth of their “rainbow baby” Henley Grace. The show premieres Dec. 19, but if you’re like us and can’t wait until then to watch, don’t fret. Watch our exclusive sneak peek from the premiere below!

Emotions were understandably running high for Jamie and Doug during this pregnancy. The new mama has been open about the devastating miscarriage of son Jonathan Edward she experienced before becoming pregnant with little Henley. “Obviously, the loss of a child — no one wants to talk about that, and that’s because it’s so incredibly uncomfortable,” she exclusively told Life & Style. “What do you say? What can anyone say to comfort you? It’s usually not a lot, but if you sit there in your dark hole and we don’t talk about it, that doesn’t help anybody.”

Well, we’re glad she’s had the courage to speak out about her loss. And we couldn’t be any happier that Jamie and Doug now have a beautiful baby girl. “I just try to be positive. Obviously, I love my daughter mentally, but I can’t help but wonder what he would have been like,” she added. “He’d be a year [old] in December, so I just can’t help but think about what he would be like and that kind of stuff. I think it navigates through all of that.”
