Jason Tartick Roasts Tyler Cameron Over His Gigi Hadid Romance: ‘Launched Relationship at a Funeral’

Jason Tartick roasted fellow Bachelor Nation member Tyler Cameron over his short-lived romance with Gigi Hadid.

The reality stars took to TikTok to participate in the viral suspect challenge, where people roast their friends while running. The clip began with Jason, 36, and Tyler, 31, making friendly jabs at each other’s real height and their constant desire to always take their shirts off. As the clip continued, they both quickly turned their attention to each other’s love lives.

“Suspect only dates girls that have over a million followers,” Tyler said, referencing Jason’s past romances with exes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Kat Stickler. Jason then replied, “Oh, my God. F–k you.”

Jason clapped back by taking a jab at Tyler’s brief romance with Gigi, 29. “Suspect thought it was a good idea to take a supermodel out to a date, had his dad pay for it and launched their entire relationship at a funeral,” he said.

After Tyler became a fan favorite during Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, he sparked dating rumors with Gigi in 2019. They confirmed the dating rumors when Tyler was spotted consoling Gigi, her mother, Yolanda Hadid, and siblings Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid at her grandmother’s funeral in the Netherlands.

Despite being included in the personal family outing, Tyler and Gigi’s romance wasn’t meant to be and they split two months after the funeral.

While Tyler hasn’t shared many details about his brief relationship with Gigi, he previously revealed that he only had $200 in the bank when they went on their first date.

“I had like $200,” he shared during a March 2023 episode of Jason’s “Trading Secrets” podcast. “I remember I’d be going on dates callin’ pops up in the bathroom like, ‘Yo, pops, I don’t think my credit cards gonna go through. I need you to send me some money right now.’ He’s like, ‘You got it, son. Go get it.'”

The Florida native recalled that he was “just crossing [his] fingers” that his credit card wouldn’t be declined.

Despite not being financially stable during that time in his life, Tyler said that he looked back at that time fondly. “You know, this is like in my early days in New York City,” he said. “I’m living on Matt [James’] beanbag, have no money but I’m like the happiest I’ve ever been because it’s like the world is wide open to me in New York City. I can do whatever I want.”

Tyler has since found love with girlfriend Tate Madden, and he revealed that they moved in together in September 2024.

Prior to sharing the major update, Tyler initially kept their relationship out of the spotlight and took his time revealing Tate’s identity. However, he did say he was dating a “great girl” in July.

“It’s something that we’ve been working on and keeping private,” he told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “But there will be a time when we come out.”

Tyler continued, “That’s what happens – you go home and find a girl.”
