Jenn Tran Says Sasha Farber Got Her ‘Some Really Great Birthday Gifts’ Amid Romance Rumors
Sasha Farber showered Jenn Tran with love on her 27th birthday. The Bachelorette alum turned the big 2-7 on November 24 and threw a huge party in Los Angeles to celebrate on December 12.
“[Sasha] did get me some really great birthday gifts,” Jenn, 27, told Us Weekly at the Unforgettable Gala on December 14. “I’ll leave that for him to share, but he is very, very kind and thoughtful.”
Of her blowout bash, Jenn gushed, “It ended up being a really fun night, just surrounded by everyone who has supported me in the past year, like, producers on different shows that I’ve been on and friends and everything. It was so perfect.”
Jenn didn’t clarify her and Sasha’s relationship status, but she did confirm that she’s been crashing on his couch since Dancing With the Stars ended in November and the lease on her temporary apartment ended. “I will say that he’s been a really great roommate. The best roommate I’ve ever had,” Jenn dished. “He cooks, he cleans, he has two great [dogs] for me to pet all day. It’s been really amazing.”
She also discussed how she and her DWTS partner “connect really well on a deeper level,” adding, “I think it was pretty apparent since our first meeting in the airport how crazy it was. We were able to click so fast and I think that’s really carried us through the time that we’ve known each other. We’ve always been on the same page.”
Fans noticed Sasha, 40, and Jenn’s chemistry on DWTS, but the romance rumors really started flying after their elimination on October 29. The two continued to spend time together, leading to speculation that their relationship was more than just platonic.
After returning to the ballroom for the DWTS finale, Jenn and Sasha spent Thanksgiving together. They spent the morning volunteering and then reunited with Sasha’s ex-wife, Emma Slater, as well as other DWTS pros for dinner at Alfonso Ribiero’s home. Jenn then spent a few days back east before returning to the West Coast for a trip to Vancouver with Sasha. They did some exploring in the city and attended Taylor Swift’s Eras tour while in town.
For the holidays, Jenn said that she’s planning on heading back to Boston to be with her family. She’s also still in the middle of physician assistant school in Miami. Although she put her studies on pause to appear on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Dancing With the Stars, she recently confirmed that she’d be heading back to school.
“I know, everybody has been asking this question. And the short answer to this is yes, I am going back to PA school,” she shared on Instagram in November. “Being in medicine is something that I’ve just been pursuing my entire life and it wouldn’t be right to not, and I just feel the most fulfilled working as a PA. So, I will be going back to school. I will be getting that degree.”
Although she didn’t specify her timeline, she added that she hoped to move back to Los Angeles once she received her degree.
