Jenna Dewan’s BF Steve Kazee Got Her ‘So Into’ a Very Surprising Hobby: ‘I Was Hooked!’
Trying new things! Jenna Dewan revealed that her boyfriend, Steve Kazee, has turned her into a major WWE fan. Wait, what? That’s right. She and her beau bond over people getting chokeslammed because romance isn’t dead.
“Steve, my boyfriend, is a huge wrestling fan. And he got me so into it!” the 38-year-old dished to guest host John Cena during the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, April 19. This seems surprising but the former World of Dance judge is now a huge fan of the organization.
“I watched WrestleMania by myself, like, he wasn’t even in town and I watched WrestleMania. Because I had to know if Becky Lynch was going to beat Ronda Rousey!” she admitted. Although the actor, 43, was gone, it sounds like the two still enjoyed the intense show together. The Step Up actress explained, “I was by myself, I ordered it … and I was sitting there texting [Steve] like, ‘Do you know what’s happening?'” She added, “I was hooked!”
Jenna and her ex-husband, Channing Tatum, announced their split in May 2018. They are friendly coparents to their 5-year-old daughter, Everly, and seem supportive of each other’s new relationships. The Magic Mike star is dating singer Jessie J so there doesn’t seem to be any saltiness about his former spouse’s new man.
There’s no sign of Jenna and Steve slowing down anytime soon. A source exclusively told Life & Style that she sees a “future” with the Tony award winner. “Things are going so well that they’re already living together … He’s great with Everly and that’s encouraging to Jenna, who’d like a couple more kids when the time’s right,” the insider said. They added, “Steve’s got all the qualities she needs in a partner and he’s super sensitive and sweet.”
Steve got Jenna into wrestling so we wonder what new hobbies he’s picking up from his gorgeous girlfriend. Ballroom dancing? Fitness? It’s great to see these two doing so well!
