Jennifer Aniston’s 3 a.m. Pre-Dawn Workouts ‘Non-Negotiable’: ‘It’s Been a Long-Time Habit’
Jennifer Aniston is more dedicated than ever to her hardcore workouts – as she’s been detailing in numerous new interviews – but she’s struggling to find the time due to her hectic schedule so she’s taken to doing her bone crunching routines in the wee hours of the pre-dawn morning, a source exclusively tells Life & Style.
“When Jen is shooting The Morning Show, she often has to be on set as early as 6 a.m. to get in the hair and make-up chair, which means she needs to be up hours earlier to get her 90-minute workout session in,” the insider says.
“It sounds totally insane to get up at 3 a.m. to exercise, but her workouts are non-negotiable and the only way she can fit them in her crazy busy schedules on those days is to do it before she leaves for the set.”
The Break-Up actress, 55, has a pedigree of healthy living, having detailed her workout schedule and squeaky-clean eating habits in the past. She even admitted to resisting the temptation of a cheat meal by eating a single potato chip to sate her cravings. It’s no surprise her zealous approach to health and fitness yields results – the Friends alum was spotted in Los Cabos over the New Year’s holiday looking fantastic on the beach in a bikini as she welcomed in 2025 with her cadre of celeb friends.
Jen even partnered with a New York City-based exercise program, Pvolve, in 2023, taking her Instagram followers through one of their proprietary workouts, which is based on “a science-led method that combines low-impact functional fitness with resistance-based equipment to deliver results beyond a traditional workout,” according to their website.
“So proud to support our female founder and the beyond talented trainers. This is one of my favorite workouts … and I’m so grateful for the team and excited for what’s to come,” the Horrible Bosses actress said.

Endorsements and exercise products aside, Jen does put her money where her mouth is when it comes to taking care of her own body, with the source noting it’s become such an ingrained and necessary part of her day she’ll fit it into her schedule no matter what.
“It’s been a long-time habit to get up before dawn to exercise when she’s shooting because there’s just no telling how long her work days will go,” the insider continues. “She legitimately may not get home until 9 p.m. or even later and getting in a good sweat session at that time of night is next to impossible.”
With season four of The Morning Show in the works and bringing in big names like Jeremy Irons to the award-winning production, Jen has very little time to take care of herself, but even when she’s not mired in her work on the show her schedule is bound to be packed.
“Even when she’s not actually in the middle of production, she’s so busy with meetings for her Lolavie line and promo campaigns and everything else she does that hitting her home gym before the sun comes up is pretty much the norm.”
