Fantasia Barrino on Jennifer Hudson’s Split — “She’s a Tough Cookie” (EXCLUSIVE)
Singer Fantasia Barrino talks to Life & Style about friend Jennifer Hudson’s messy split saying her former American Idol co-star will definitely “bounce back.”
On Nov. 16, Jennifer Hudson revealed she’d ended her decade-long relationship with fiancé David Otunga and had gotten an order of protection, against him, which she has since dropped. “She’s a tough cookie and she bounces back,” Fantasia, who just released a holiday album entitled Christmas After Midnight, notes.
“I’m proud of her for being where she is right now, after losing some of the things that she lost. I’m proud of her and I want her to find love however that comes for her.” Fantasia adds that she knows eventually things will smooth out for the sake of their child together, “if it hasn’t smoothed out already.”
