Power Couple! Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Look Stunning on Their First Red Carpet of 2020

Just when we think it’s impossible for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez to look more chic, we’re proven wrong. The power couple made their first public appearance of the new year at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala in equally stunning outfits.

The 50-year-old pop star wore a gorgeous floral-print strapless dress to the event, which took place on January 2. Meanwhile, her beau, 44, kept it simple and elegant in black and white. Whether these two are out and about or attending a fancy gala, they’re always looking amazing. Most importantly, they’re always supportive of one another. Jen often goes to baseball games, which must be fun for Alex, considering it’s his passion, while A-Rod goes to Jen’s concerts and accompanies the pop star on the red carpet.

Luckily, their relationship works because they have a mutual understanding of their hectic lifestyles as well as the same outlook in life. “We’re very similar. We’re really alike in our drive, in our ambition,” Jennifer recently told GQ. “He’s an athlete. He wanted to be the best. I’m the same way. I just want to be great at what I do. We’re both like that. We’re both super-hard workers. We’re driven by our passions. And we have a tremendous amount of respect for each other.”

Jen also gushed about the special connection she has with her man, adding that he takes into consideration all her concerns or any advice she may have for him. “He knows I only have his best interest at heart, and I only want him to thrive and succeed and to be his best self,” she told the outlet. “And I believe that he wants that for me. He wants me to be seen and to get what I deserve. Like, he’s made his half a billion. And he’s like, ‘I want you to have that.'”

Jen and Alex got engaged in March 2019 when the former MLB player proposed to her on the beach. Neither of them has announced when they’re planning to tie the knot, but here’s to hoping it’s sometime this year!
