Jennifer Lopez Shares Adorable ‘Appreciation Post’ for Fiancé Alex Rodriguez: ‘My Biggest Supporter’
When it comes to showing each other love, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez can’t get enough! The 50-year-old pop star gave her hubby-to-be a sweet shout-out on January 6, and it is seriously relationship goals.
“I cannot even begin to explain what having you by my side means to me,” she captioned a photo with him from the 2020 Golden Globes. “I love riding thru [sic] life with you … My biggest supporter, my rock, my macho #alexappreciationpost” How sweet!
This heartwarming post came a day after Alex, 44, expressed his adoration for his future wife in a lengthy message. “Jen, it doesn’t take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion,” the former baseball player wrote on January 5. “To millions of young women who have watched you and have been inspired and empowered to do amazing things in their lives, you are a champion.”
He continued, “For countless musicians, dancers, actresses and performers who have seen and emulate your passion, drive and work ethic to find their own success, you are a champion. To your children, your family, your coaches, your staff and your extended family, you are a champion. To everyone whose lives you enrich daily, you are a champion. And don’t you ever forget it.” He’s definitely a keeper! J. Lo responded by calling A-Rod “my everything,” so she must agree.
Part of what makes the power couple’s relationship work so well is their shared outlooks in life. The singer recently gushed to GQ about how nice it is that they’re often on the same page. “We’re very similar,” Jennifer told the outlet in November. “We’re really alike in our drive, in our ambition. He’s an athlete. He wanted to be the best. I’m the same way. I just want to be great at what I do. We’re both like that. We’re both super-hard workers. We’re driven by our passions. And we have a tremendous amount of respect for each other.” We love to see it!
