‘Jersey Shore’ Star Deena Cortese Is Still Pregnant, Shares Baby Update As Her Due Date Nears
We know it seems like she’s been pregnant forever, but she doesn’t wanna hear it, y’all. Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese and her husband, Chris Buckner, are ready to have their baby boy! As her due date approaches, the soon-to-be mama took to social media on Dec. 29, to share an update with fans and followers about her pregnancy status and baby CJ’s upcoming arrival.
“Yes.. yes I’m still pregnant,” Deena captioned a cute selfie of her and her bump. “Getting a lot of messages and tweets assuming I had the baby [because] I haven’t posted since Christmas… but it seems like CJ is just super comfy in Mommy’s uterus,” she explained as to why the baby has yet to arrive.
“Before you comment ‘I feel like you’ve been pregnant forever,’ imagine how I feel. So let’s refrain from that 👌🏼,” the 31-year-old wrote, getting real about how long the nine months have felt for her. “Hoping he’ll be ready soon because Mommy and Daddy are super ready to meet him. #40weekspregnant.” Forty weeks would put Deena right around her due date, so we hope he comes out soon!
Deena and Chris announced their pregnancy with meatball No. 1 on July 2, via Instagram and naturally the couple was thrilled: “We have a sweet little boy on the way! We are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness December can’t come soon enough!”
Recently, Deena spoke to Life & Style exclusively about how she’s already been thinking about having baby No. 2, if you can believe it. “Oh definitely!” Deena gushed. “Well, I want to have time with him and we want to appreciate him, but we were thinking we want our kids to be close in age,” she continued. “So, maybe a year and a half and then start trying again, but the first year and a half, we want to give all our attention to CJ.”
