A Thanksgiving surprise! Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pregnant with her third child, the 30-year-old revealed on Instagram on the morning of Nov. 22. “What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving,” she captioned a black and white photo of her daughter, Giovanna, and son, Lorenzo, holding a framed photograph of an ultrasound. This will be the third child Snooki shares with husband Jionni LaValle.

Jersey Shore fans watched as Snooki met her husband-to-be on the MTV reality show. Snooki and Jionni stared dating in 2010, and Snooki’s pregnancy was documented on Season 6 of the series. Snooki and Jionni got engaged shortly after she got pregnant, and they welcomed their first child, son Lorenzo, in August 2012.

In April 2014, Snooki announced she was pregnant with the couple’s second child, daughter Giovanna, and she gave birth to Giovanna that September. Just two months later, Snooki and Jionni tied the knot in a gorgeous Great Gatsby-themed wedding.

Back in 2016, Snooki revealed in an interview with E! News that she and Jionni are hoping to expand their family. “He wants to have one right now,” she said at the time. “We’re ready for another one, just not like tomorrow.”

Last year, Snooki and the rest of her Jersey Shore cast members went back to work after MTV announced a new spin-off, Jersey Shore Family Vacation. She was very open on the show about experiencing “mom guilt” while she was away from her kids filming for the show. But it seemed like once she returned back home after filming JSVF Season 1, she and Jionni felt it was the right time to start trying for baby No. 3.

During an episode that aired during Season 2, Snooki thought she was pregnant because she’d been throwing up, and she was very disappointed after she took a pregnancy test in the cast’s vacation house and it came back negative. “I really want a baby. Me and Jionni have been trying,” she said on the show. But it looks like now she and Jionni’s wish came true!
