‘Jersey Shore’ Star JWoww’s Divorce From Husband Roger Mathews Is Reportedly Still On
It looks like Jersey Shore star Jenni “JWoww” Farley and her husband, Roger Mathews, really are as done as Jenni said they were when she filed for divorce on Sept. 12, in Ocean County, New Jersey. Even though these two are in the midst of a separation, they still seemed to be trying to make things work. But according to Radar Online, the divorce is still very much on.
Jenni, 32, decided to end things with Roger, 43, after eight years together and three years of marriage. Even though Roger reportedly told Us Weekly recently that the couple was “working on things,” Radar confirmed via a source from the Ocean County Superior Court that no further motions have been added to Jenni’s divorce complaint. So, it seems like they’re still on the way to splitsville. Boo.
Honestly, the last two months have felt like a little bit of a Jedi mind-trick with these two. Between the divorce filings and now, they’ve almost been more of a family than ever. Once the divorce news hit, cute family photos and declarations of Roger’s love all-too-conveniently showed up on both of their Instagram accounts practically right after. The couple even celebrated their three-year anniversary in late October with a dinner so romantic, you’d think things were great between the two. Until you saw the caption, of course: “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” No, Roger, it wasn’t. But neither are divorces, clearly.
But the main thing for the two parents is making sure their kids, Melani and Greyson, have an easy transition. “She will always put her children first and this year is no exception,” an insider close to Jenni told Radar about her parenting. “She wants her kids to have as normal of a life as possible.” Between the reality TV fame and the split, we can’t say we blame Jenni for her outlook. To that end, Jenni also confirmed with Us Weekly that the family will be spending Thanksgiving together, too, in order to keep things as normal as can be.
But, at the end of the day, she’s done. “Roger has been trying everything he can to change her mind, but her mind is made up,” the insider revealed to Radar. “She was just unhappy, and she wasn’t in love with him anymore.”
