Roger Mathews Shares A Sweet New Family Photo — Just Days After JWoww Filed For Divorce
ICYMI: Jenni “JWoww” Farley filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Roger Mathews, and basically, our hearts are breaking for them! However, on Sept. 30, the father-of-two took to Instagram to share a new sweet family photo — so maybe there’s still hope!
“Good day with the Disney Jr. squad. Thanks, Mom for putting it together,” the 43-year-old captioned the snapshot of himself, Jenni, their daughter Meilani, 4, and another young girl. Even if little Greyson, 2, is missing from the photo, the family still appears super happy to be together.
Fans quickly flooded the comment section with words of support for the struggling pair. “I’m rooting for you two!! You got this,” one user wrote. “This makes me so sad. I love you guys! I hope it works out,” added another. Some trolls, however, began to question the legitimacy of Jenni and Roger’s divorce — and suggested that perhaps the announcement was made to boost Jersey Shore Family Vacation ratings. “Clearly this was all a fake divorce for ratings!” one hater wrote. “Uh, I’m all types of confused. What happened to the divorce? Seems like a publicity stunt,” added another.
Despite the accusations, Roger took to social media on Sept. 28 to confirm that the rumors were true. “My wife filed for divorce… it’s true, I’m just gonna keep it simple,” he said in a video on Instagram. “I don’t blame her. There’s no cheating or any dumb s–t, any juicy details, it’s… she just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into… again, I’m not gonna get into detail, but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.”
Poor Rog! Here’s hoping that these two reality TV lovebirds find a way to make things work. After all, the entire Jersey Shore community is rooting for them!
