Snooki Shares Emotional Reaction To JWoww And Roger Mathews’ Divorce
We still can’t believe it! On Sept. 27, news broke that Jenni “JWoww” Farley has filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Roger Mathews. Now the Jersey Shore star’s BFF, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, has taken to social media to share her emotional reaction.
E! News shared a post of Jenni and Snooki to their Instagram page, writing: “If there’s anything we’ve learned today, it’s that our best friends truly are our soulmates.” Snook’s quickly commented, “Stop I’m crying,” and girl, same here. The 30-year-old also took to her own IG page to share a snapshot of the pair from a recent episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. “We are forever, my love,” she wrote.
ICYMI: Roger also took to social media to set the record straight about his divorce proceedings. My wife filed for divorce… it’s true, I’m just gonna keep it simple,” he said in the video. “I don’t blame her. There’s no cheating or any dumb s–t, any juicy details, it’s… she just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into … again, I’m not gonna get into detail, but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.”
However, Roger assured fans that he wasn’t “done fighting” for her. “I’m gonna win my wife back, I’m gonna win her affection back, I’m gonna win her love back,” he continued. “I have no intention of being a single dad. We’re in counseling, so there’s hope. It ain’t over til the fat lady sings.”
According to documents filed by JWoww, “The Plaintiff and the Defendant have irreconcilable differences which have caused the breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months which make it appear that the marriage should be dissolved and that there is no prospect of reconciliation.”
Sigh. We’re sincerely hoping that Roger and Jenni can make things work for the sake of their two beautiful children, Meilani, 4, and Greyson, 2. Plus, if they survived summers in Seaside Heights without calling it quits, we’re pretty sure they can handle anything!
