Jessie J Addresses Fans Who Keep Editing Her Appearance: ‘I Like What I Look Like’
Comfortable in her own skin! Jessie J called out fans for altering her appearance in Instagram photos. She’s been spotting her facial features being edited on social media and wants everyone to cut it out. The songstress is here to say she loves herself and is fully confident in her looks … imperfections and all.
“I am noticing more and more pictures my fans are posting of me where my face is edited,” she began a typed message on her Instagram Story on Monday, June 3. “My nose is often made smaller and pointy, my chin is smaller, my lips are bigger.”
Just to be crystal clear, the “Flashlight” artist wrote in all caps, “Please, stop editing my face.” She continued to explain, “I look like what I look like. I like my face, flaws and all. If you don’t like my face the way it is, then don’t post pictures of it.” The thumbs up emoji at the end was a nice touch, as well. No misinterpreting that, right?
We love Jessie’s body positive attitude and she’s always authentically herself. The “Price Tag” artist and her man, Channing Tatum, seem extremely happy together and the pop star’s confidence probably has a lot to do with it. A source exclusively told Life & Style that the A-listers are getting more serious by the day. “Channing and Jessie are still going strong and they’ve taken their romance to a whole new level,” the insider dished. “They’ve already met each other’s parents and are planning a future. Yes, they’ve talked about marriage and starting a family. It’s serious.”
It’s no secret that the 21 Jump Street actor, 39, is completely smitten over the English singer. He penned the most heartfelt message on Instagram for her 31st birthday on March 27. “You came into this world on this day and lit it on fire,” he captioned a dreamy black-and-white photo of Jessie. “You have blessed our eyes, our ears, our hearts and our lives. So, thank you for just being you. You are so very special. Happy birthday, baby.” Aw, so sweet.
