Jessie James Decker Reveals How She and Eric Keep the Spark Alive — After the Kids Go to Bed
These two are the definition of #couplegoals. Jessie James Decker and her husband, Eric Decker, have three kids together, and they are still crazy in love. In Hollywood, it’s rare that people stay together more than a few minutes, so how do the singer and former football player, 31, make it work? The brunette beauty, 30, sat down with Life & Style exclusively to reveal her relationship secrets.
“We love spending time together,” she told us while promoting her favorite snack food Jack Link’s beef jerky. “I think for us, we just like spending time together and when the kids go down at 7:30 p.m., that is our time to be one-on-one and have a glass of wine and just talk to each other, you know, just be alone. I think that is how we do it.”
The lovebirds realized that even though they have different interests — she loves music and he loves football — they enjoy collaborating at times. “We had our show together and we do a lot of business together,” she said. “I feel like that is what we love.” At the end of the day, the clothing designer confessed that she and Eric “just like each other” and that their marriage “just works.”
The hunk and the mom-of-three dabbled in the reality TV world for a bit with their show, Eric & Jessie: Game On, but don’t count on them to return with new episodes, unfortunately. “I think that chapter has been closed,” she revealed. “We are glad with that decision, but in other capacities, we have got some things up our sleeves.” Hopefully it’s some kind of relationship show, because if anyone can give advice, it’s these two!
The power couple recently welcomed their third child, Forrest, in April 2018, but it doesn’t sound like a fourth baby is in the cards — for now. “We are so happy with three [kids],” Jessie said. “If something were to happen, a new baby is always a blessing. But as of right now, we are so enjoying our little 9-month-old Forrest.”
Ugh, we can’t enough of these two!
