Taking selfies is a real challenge, just ask Jessie James Decker. The singer, 30, got real about her photo taking process, proving we’re not all that different.

On Monday, January 28, Jessie took to Instagram to post a mirror selfie showing off her booty. The pop star also took the opportunity to reveal that the weather has her slacking on her workout routine, but that she’s getting back to it.

“Did I do the Insta side booty shot right? Took me 6 tries to get that good ‘flattering angle’ just keepin’ it real 😂 Lol but for real… I’ve been slacking big time on the working out department,” she wrote. “I don’t know about y’all but this cold weather just makes me wanna nest and eat 3 bowls of chili. I’m going to make it a point to get back into a routine! 100 lunges today, 50 squats and 25 push-ups in my living room today. It’s almost bikini weather and I am craving that sunshine 😎 anyone else been slacking on their workouts?? Let’s pump each other up!”

Considering how hectic her schedule is, it’s no surprise she sometimes struggles keeping up. Yet, she still finds a way. The “Lights Down Low” singer has been sharing her body transformation pics on social media after having her third child, Forrest Decker, in March 2018. The results are incredible.

In an Instagram post from early January, Jessie told her followers she would often compare herself to other moms’ post-baby pics. “I know you’ll see a lot of people in the public eye and they drop weight in what seems like five minutes after having a baby and I think we all feel like we should live up to those expectations. I’ve even been guilty of that myself and thinking I need to rush and lose weight two months after having a baby when I see all these skinny girls post baby, but that is just not realistic for the majority of us,” she wrote.

“I have been every shape and size over the last 4 1/2 years from having children and never had to worry about losing weight until I had kids,” Jessie continued. “I had [a] good metabolism and had always been that way before. Having children definitely changed everything and I’m so blessed and grateful to have my babies as y’all know, but it definitely can test your self-esteem when you are used to looking and feeling a certain way. I got up to 165 pounds with my first baby and being 5’1, it was really hard on my frame and I definitely struggled self-esteem wise.”

The reality star concluded the post by sharing how happy she is with her weight loss and how it’s all about “educating” yourself. You go, girl!
