Finally! The Jonas Brothers released their first album in 10 years — Happiness Begins — which dropped on Friday, June 7. The LP is filled with bops, and there’s one particular track that showcases Joe Jonas‘ vulnerable side, and that’s “Hesitate.” The 29-year-old dedicated the lyrics to his wife, Sophie Turner, making this a pretty special song.

The former DNCE singer kicked off the tune by painting a picture of someone in a relationship going through a rough time. “Kiss the tears right off your face/ Won’t get scared/ that’s the old, old, old me/ I’ll be there time and place/ Lay it on me, all you’re hold, hold, holding,” he sang. He then reassures them by promising to stick by their side. “Time, time only heals if we work through it now/ And I promise we’ll figure this out,” he continued. “I will take your pain/ And put it on my heart/ I won’t hesitate/ Just tell me where to start/ I thank the oceans for giving me you/ You saved me once and now I’ll save you too/ I won’t hesitate for you.”

During the trio’s Billboard interview in May, Nick Jonas described the song as Joe’s “love letter” to his wife. Around the same time, the Game of Thrones alum, 23, got candid about her struggles in the beginning of their relationship, revealing Joe helped her overcome some dark stuff. “He was, like, ‘I can’t be with you until you love yourself, I can’t see you love me more than you love yourself,'” Sophie told the Sunday Times. “That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way.”

Thanks to therapy, treatment and her healthy relationship with Joe, Sophie’s mental health has improved. “I love myself now, or more than I used to, I think. I don’t think I love myself at all, but I’m now with someone that makes me realize, you know, that I do have some redeeming qualities, I suppose,” she said during a podcast appearance in April.

She’s helped him too. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Joe said Sophie inspired him to make amends with his bros. “It encouraged me to see she had such a great relationship with her brothers,” Joe told the outlet. “That was really a big thing for me to be able to look at, and say, ‘I gotta get my s–t together.'” More reasons to love these two!
