Demi Lovato Just Served Us With Her Holographic Pride Pedicure That You’ll Want to Copy ASAP
Yes, queen! Demi Lovato showed off her adorable new holographic pedicure for Pride and you’ll want to copy it ASAP. Each of her toes looked super festive and were serving up major inspiration for the month of June (and all year long, duh). The songstress confirmed that she’s open to dating men and women in the 2017 documentary Simply Complicated and she’s all about celebrating the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.
The 26-year-old shared the photo of her colorful toes on her Instagram Story with a plethora of stickers, including ones that said “Bi Pride” and “Let’s get one thing straight … I’m not.” The fun snap, which was posted in the early morning hours of Friday, June 7, also put the tattoos across her feet that read, “Let Go” and “Let God” on full display. Her nails are super unique and each toe looks completely different.
How can you achieve this amazing look for yourself? Before you start digging out every color of nail polish you own, this process is most commonly done using a powder dip process. Basically, unless you’re a full-on beauty maven, leave this one to the experts. According to The Beauty Department, a base coat color can be used to alter the final result for the exact look you’re going for. Next, a few layers of powder are added, usually with some sort of sponge. Finally, a clear coat is applied for shine and to seal in all that gorgeous color.
As for Demi, we’re sure she has a lot more planned for Pride this year. She opened up about her sexuality during an interview with InStyle in 2018 and revealed that she’s open to all romantic relationships. “I’m very fluid, and I think love is love,” the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer explained. “You can find it in any gender. I like the freedom of being able to flirt with whoever I want.”
