Jonathan Scott Has ‘Already Moved Some of His Belongings’ Into GF Zooey Deschanel’s Place
Have Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott moved in together? It turns out the 41-year-old Property Brothers star already keeps some of his stuff at her place, so it’s safe to say things are getting pretty serious between them.
“He’s already moved some of his belongings into Zooey’s place [in L.A.], and they’re talking about buying a love nest and renovating it together,” a source tells Life & Style exclusively. Her friends warned her not to “rush anything.” However, they approve of her new beau, especially after seeing how happy he makes Zooey. “She’s adamant that her feelings for Jonathan are genuine and says ‘when you know, you know,'” the insider divulged.
TBH, we’re not surprised that’s the case. Especially because the two had a special connection since they had their first encounter in August while filming Carpool Karaoke. “When they met, there was immediate chemistry and they haven’t looked back since,” the source added.
Not too long after, the New Girl actress and Jonathan made their romance public when they attended a live taping of Dancing With the Stars in September. Their DWTS appearance came weeks after news broke that Zooey and her estranged husband, Jacob Pechenik, called it quits. “After much discussion and a long period of contemplation, we have decided we are better off as friends, business partners and coparents rather than life partners,” the former flames, who share two children, told Us Weekly in a joint statement at the time.
It’s a good thing the 500 Days of Summer alum has the support from her new beau during this difficult time. The two seem to have the best bond and have great chemistry. “They both have quirky personalities, share common interests and they bounce off each other,” the source confessed. “It really seems like this relationship will go the distance.” Jonathan’s twin brother, Drew Scott, seems to agree. Even he shares similarities with his bro’s lady. “We have a lot of the same interests. We have quirky personalities,” he told Us Weekly in September. “[They’re] both amazing people, and I think it’s great. And it means I get to get Jon out here to spend more time with us in L.A.”
