It’s been a crazy couple of years for Jordyn Woods. The model has been able to bounce back and overcome every obstacle she’s been faced with, and she got through it thanks to the support she received from her own loved ones.

“Definitely my family!” the 22-year-old exclusively told Life & Style during the FrstPlace launch when asked who she leans on the most during difficult times. “My little sister, my mom and my brothers,” she said to be exact, before adding that she also relies on writing in a journal to make her feel at ease.

After dealing with the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal in February, Jordyn lost her former best friend Kylie Jenner and received so much backlash for betraying Khloé Kardashian. Now that Kylie and Jordyn aren’t close anymore, the model considers her family and some longtime pals her new BFFs. “I don’t really have a core friend group right now. I have my family. All of my friends are my family,” she confessed. “A lot of my best friends are my childhood best friends and people that I’ve known for two decades.”

Jordyn Woods Leans Her Relatives During Difficult Times

One of those people she’s known forever is the Smith family. It all started when Jordyn’s late dad worked as a TV sound engineer on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and befriended Will Smith. The two often brought their families together and naturally, Jordyn and Jaden Smith became pretty tight.

For the rapper’s 21st birthday in July, Jordyn gave Jaden a sweet shout-out, which offered fans a glimpse of their awesome bond. “Honestly @c.syresmith is probably one of the realest people in life,” she captioned an Instagram photo with him. “We must’ve traveled in a past life to get here today but from 0 to 21 years old we’re still here. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most loving and caring boy I know. I love you best friend! Here’s to the tequila shots we’ll be taking later.”

In addition to her close friendship with Jaden, Jordyn is also close to Jada Pinkett Smith. Jordyn’s Red Table Talk appearance in March is a testament to that. It looks like Jordyn already has all the family she needs!
