Selena Gomez Thinks Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Won’t Last: He’ll “Come Running Back Eventually” (EXCLUSIVE)
Now that Justin Bieber is reportedly engaged to Hailey Baldwin, all eyes are on his ex Selena Gomez to see how she feels. Jelena rekindled their romance in November 2017, and the two were spotted kissing, canoodling, and hanging out on several occasions. Unfortunately, things fizzled out and the pair split, leading Justin to rekindle the flame with Hailey. But is Jaley’s relationship the real deal? Not according to Selena.
A source exclusively revealed to Life & Style, Selena “knows that he will come running back eventually because she has no doubt in her mind that the two of them will break up, as they did before.” On top of that, “this whole thing with Hailey is the exact reason why Selena doesn’t want him anymore,” the insider shared. “He can never be without a woman and she does not believe any of his lies anymore.”
And it looks like Selena’s fans agree. “I can’t be the only one who thinks Justin Bieber only propose [sic] to Hailey Baldwin to get Selena Gomez’s attention ? I feel like he will always love Selena and everyone else is a rebound,” one fan tweeted. “Justin is engaged to Hailey Baldwin after a month of dating n ppl making it a big deal bc Hailey was his rebound from Selena years ago,” a second person wrote.
So Selena is doing what she can to move on and live her best life — whether that means Justin is a part of it or not. On Sunday, July 8, her friend Theresa posted a picture of herself and Selena on a boat, soaking up the sun and working on their tans.
It’s clear the “Back to You” singer has a lot of support from her friends and family members. Her mom, Mandy Teefey, was reportedly never a fan of her daughter’s relationship with Justin in the first place. After Justin and Selena split, a source exclusively told Life & Style, “Her family feels that no one has ever gotten under her skin like Justin and, ultimately, he affected her in a deeply negative way. Mandy really believes that Selena will be able to heal faster without him.” Hopefully part of that healing process includes dropping a kickass single!
