Country Royalty! Kacey Musgraves Wowed at the 2019 CMAs in a Feathered Gown — See Photos

When it comes to country music stars, there’s no denying that Kacey Musgraves sits atop the yeehaw totem pole. Not only is the “Space Cowboy” songstress, 31, incredibly talented, but she also knows how to work a red carpet like it’s nobody’s business. Enter: Kacey at the 2019 Country Music Association Awards. 

The Texas native stepped out in a yellow, feathered gown that appeared to be straight out of a ‘70s time capsule. For her glam, Kacey went with her signature hairstyle — sleek and straight. The brunette babe’s makeup was understated and perfectly executed, thank you very much.

In the last year alone, Kacey’s A-list fanbase has grown considerably. From Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to Selena Gomez and the Hadid sisters, everyone loves some ~spacey~ Kacey. Ahem, she showed up with Gigi Hadid. 

Ahead of country’s biggest night, Kacey took to Instagram to announce her incredibly special duet with the legendary Willie Nelson.“A [Willie] full-circle moment,” the brunette beauty captioned her post on Monday, November 11. In the clip, a 9-year-old Kacey is singing the crooner’s “Rainbow Connection,” which, you guessed it, is the duo’s selection for their CMAs performance. 

Are you crying yet? Because we are. Of course, we’re hardly the only ones. “Already crying,” Gigi, 24, wrote, echoing our sentiment.  “Ah! I’m so excited. This is going to be amazing,” one fan gushed. “Pouring my drinks and warming my seat on the couch. Ready!!!!” added a second. “So proud of my queen!” a third person chimed in, while a fourth echoed, “I’m so happy for you! This is truly a dream come true.”

Unsurprisingly, Kacey was one of the early winners of a CMA award. Prior to the show, she snagged Music Video of the Year for “Rainbow.” She is also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year. With competition this steep — Kacey is up against heavy hitters like Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini — it’s anybody’s guess who will bring home the big wins. 

What we do know for certain, however, is that Kacey absolutely dazzled the red carpet. Keep slaying, (cow)girl.
