Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer Show Haters Who’s Boss in Skin-Baring Ensembles at the 2019 VMAs
Making a fashion statement! Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer were all smiles while gracing the red carpet at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday, August 26. The dynamic duo opted for chic and casual ensembles for the event, wearing skin-baring crop tops paired with jeans.
The reality stars were both in great spirits while getting ready for their big night. Before arriving to the red carpet, Leah, 27, took to Instagram with some videos of her pampering session. The reality star was listening to music as a hairstylist curled her long locks. Once she was ready to rock, Leah put on her stylish outfit for the evening and posed for a snap with Kailyn, 27.
Much to the delight of fans, Leah posted another behind-the-scenes photo from their glam room. “So bad. @kaillowry,” she captioned the snap of them laughing. Kailyn replied, “My babyyyyy.”
Kailyn later took to Instagram Stories with a cute shoutout from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation alum, Jen Harley. She posted a video of Kailyn and Leah captioned “cutest couple award” and we’re sure several of their followers agree!
Kailyn and Leah have been spending a lot of time together lately, having recently gone on vacation to Hawaii with their kids. Now, both of the MTV alums are slaying the style game at the VMAs like the true BFFs they are.
Back in May, the longtime MTV personalities appeared together on the “Life Reboot” podcast to discuss their previous trip to Costa Rica, and they also talked about their bond. “We talked a lot about dating and knowing our worth and not settling for bulls–t like we have in the past when it comes to relationships,” Kailyn said.
“Kail and I have both evolved and grown so much and we have, like, similar childhoods in a lot of ways and it’s amazing to see where we’re at now,” Leah chimed in.
