Not stressing! Kaitlynn Carter seems unbothered after being spotted kissing pop star Miley Cyrus in Italy. The Hills starlet — who just announced her split from Brody Jenner on August 2 — shared a dreamy video of herself traveling across the Italian countryside with the song “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” playing in the background. Subtle, right? Life & Style confirmed on August 10 that the “Mother’s Daughter” singer and her husband, Liam Hemsworth, broke up after eight months of marriage. It looks like these ladies aren’t letting anything get them down during their epic girls trip with Brandi Cyrus.
Needless to say, Miley, 26, and Kaitlynn, 30, have been getting a lot of attention since Entertainment Tonight shared photos of the two cuddling in the sun. Even Brody chimed in with an opinion on Instagram and joked about their PDA-packed moment, but the two are simply trying to live their best life.
The “Wrecking Ball” artist opened up about how her life is changing in a lengthy Instagram post on August 11. “Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once underwater, connected with Africa, change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created overnight, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed,” she began a caption on a photo that showed her standing on some cliffs.
She then evoked some advice she received from Billy Ray Cyrus about moving forward. “My dad always told me, ‘Nature never hurries but it is always on time,'” she continued. “It fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own.”
The statement from Miley and Liam’s rep revealed that the two are growing … just maybe not in the same direction. “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” their team told People. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
