Kanye West’s Australian Launch Canceled After No One Shows up — Literally No One (EXCLUSIVE)
A collaboration between Kanye‘s Yeezy brand and the Australian sportswear brand 2XU kicked off on May 5 with an in-store launch in Paddington, Australia, but Life & Style has learned there was one big problem: No one showed up.
Literally no one — after about 45 minutes, “it was canceled,” a store employee who was there that day confirms to Life & Style.

Previous Yeezy events Down Under had drawn massive crowds, but those were before Kanye, 40, stirred up controversy on May 1 by claiming that hundreds of years of slavery “sounds like a choice.”
Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, did her part to promote the Yeezy x 2XU Season 6 collection on Instagram. But that wasn’t enough to prevent an empty store — and a whole lot of expensive neoprene leggings and bike shorts left on the racks.
