Take Notes, Pete Davidson — Disneyland Dates Are a Dealbreaker for Kate Beckinsale
Hey, Pete Davidson — you might wanna jot this one down. The SNL star’s new girlfriend, Kate Beckinsale, made an appearance on the Late Late Show With James Corden on March 14 and got real about what she’s not into when it comes to dating. Spoiler alert, Disneyland is unfortunately on that list.
“I didn’t like it,” the 45-year-old explained her distaste for the amusement park to host James Corden and guest Milo Ventimiglia. “I don’t really like dates, anyway.”
She then went on to detail from where her contempt for the House of Mouse actually sparked — a failed date where her partner-in-crime for the day didn’t exactly give her the reaction she’d hoped when she got a set of Minnie Mouse ears on her head.
“There was some sort of argument about he didn’t think I looked cute in the ears. … He didn’t compliment me enough [on my Minnie Mouse ears],” she said. “So it was done. I was out. I was over it.”
TBH, she had a good argument for kicking the guy to the curb: “If you’re going to go through the trouble of buying and wearing ears, the person should be freaking out, especially if you’re over 40 because it’s a commitment … I was super offended.”
LOL, we feel you, girl.
So now we know Disneyland is on Kate’s dating s–t list. One thing we know for sure isn’t on it, though, is seeing younger guys. The Underworld bombshell has a history of going for men a few years her junior, which became mainstream news when rumors about her and Pete, 25, started flying back in January.
The duo was first spotted together reportedly leaving the Netflix Golden Globes afterparty on January 6. After that, it was less than a month before they were spotted again, this time holding hands while out in L.A.
But the deal was effectively sealed when the couple was photographed in a heavy lip lock at a Rangers game on March 4. Plus, Pete didn’t deny a thing when SNL costar Colin Jost called the actress Pete’s “girlfriend” on air during the March 9 episode of the variety show.
We think these two might just go the distance — just don’t take her to Disneyland, dude.
