Katie Maloney Says Stassi Schroeder, Beau Having 'Happy' Pregnancy

BFF duty! Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney-Schwartz exclusively tells Life & Style close pal and former costar Stassi Schroeder and her fiancé, Beau Clark, are “so happy” amid their first pregnancy.

“Obviously she’s really, really excited and doing really well,” Katie, 33, exclusively gushes over her longtime friend while promoting her new “You’re Gonna Love Me” podcast with Dear Media. “They’re like working on their nursery and anticipating their baby girl being born.”

Naturally, the brunette beauty inquires about the Next Level Basic author’s mood regularly. “I’ll just check in with Stassi like, ‘How are you feeling today? What foods are you craving?’ Just asking those kinds of questions about you know her pregnancy and you know just in the ways that you just are a friend to somebody,” Katie explains. “Just kind of being there and you know emotionally or mentally or however I can be useful.”

It makes sense the actress would have her friend’s back during such a crazy time in her life. Life & Style confirmed Stassi, 32, and her casting director man, 40, were expecting their first child on June 13. Days earlier, Bravo confirmed in a statement to Life & Style the New Orleans native and former BFF Kristen Doute were fired from the series that made them household names following past racist behavior toward Faith Stowers.

For Katie, the reality of the situation, well, “hasn’t become super real” and fully sunk in yet. “Until we get back to filming, I know it’s not going to be the same and be really weird,” the starlet added, noting she “accepts” the outcome of her friend’s actions but “it’s been crazy.”

“I’ve just been trying to be supportive of Kristen and Stassi, and their journey now of, you know, the same things we’re all doing,” Katie explained. “I’m having the same conversations I’m having with them that I’m having with all my friends. Like, what’s going on and how we find our part in all of this and make a difference … They are actively doing that same thing, too. Yeah, we’ve all got a lot of work to do.”
