If you thought the cast of Riverdale couldn’t get any better looking, you thought wrong. On Nov. 6, Kelly Ripa took to Instagram to announce that she’ll be joining her hubby, Mark Consuelos — who plays Hiram Lodge — on the beloved CW series.

Despite the fact that Kelly is best known for her bubbly talk show personality, the 48-year-old will actually be playing Hiram’s mistress. How scandalous! As it stands, we’re not sure when Kelly will be making her cameo, but needless to say, we’re excited.

“It’s a family affair… Hiram’s mistress. 23 years of auditioning for a role I was born to play. Coming soon to @thecwriverdale,” Kelly captioned a snapshot of herself in what appears to be the set for Hiram’s office looking ever-so-sultry.

Speaking of a family affair, the pair’s oldest son, Michael Consuelos, also snagged himself a major part on the show. “Congrats Michael on being cast as young Hiram Lodge on [Riverdale], however [Mark] and I would like to take this opportunity to remind you and your siblings that as your fiduciaries, we are hereby entitled to 10% of all future earnings hereto wit, or something like that,” Kelly wrote via Instagram in August.

At the time, fans weren’t sure when Michael would be making his debut. However, the wait is finally over. The newest episode of Riverdale, airing on Nov. 7, will be a flashback episode. Of course, that means the rest of the cast will be joining in on the retro fun.

Lili Reinhart will be playing the role of a young Alice Cooper, KJ Appa will be playing the role of a young Fred Andrews, Cole Sprouse will be playing the role of a young FP Jones, Madelaine Petsch will be playing the role of a young Penelope Blossom, Ashleigh Murray will be playing the role of a young Mayor McCoy, and Camila Mendes will be playing the role of a young Hermione Lodge.

Be sure to catch all new episodes of Riverdale every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. est on The CW.
