Kendall Jenner Struggled Growing Up as a ‘Twiggy’ Girl: ‘Am I Supposed to Be More Sexy?’
Even world famous supermodel Kendall Jenner needed to work on embracing her body. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed that she would often compare herself to her voluptuous sisters and feel like she was coming up short. Obviously, the runway regular is drop-dead gorgeous and slays just the way she is.
“My sisters are a lot curvier than me,” the 23-year-old explained during an interview with The Telegraph that was published on Tuesday, April 16. “They have boobs and I don’t have boobs. Growing up being this little twiggy girl, I saw my sisters and always thought, ‘Oh no am I supposed to be more sexy like them?'”
The model admitted that she’s “not necessarily a lot like” her famous sisters, which at some points of her life, made her feel like she “didn’t fit in.” However, now she’s fully learned to appreciate her individuality. She continued, “I like that I have a different vibe to everyone … I like to do different things. And that’s OK.”
Kenny may feel a tad physically different from the rest of her siblings but she values the strong bond they share. She had the perfect answer to what she values most. “Female relationships,” the model told the outlet. “To have women around me now — whether it’s friends or family — it’s super important for me.”
The Kar-Jenner family is always supporting one another. Khloé Kardashian even declared that she aspires to have her younger sister’s body. “Bust down, Thotiana BTW — Kenny, I LOVE YOUR BOOTY!! GOALS,” the 34-year-old captioned a photo on Instagram of the Vogue cover star’s best ~asset~ in a red swimsuit.
Considering Kendall surpassed Gisele Bündchen as the highest paid model in the world back in 2017, people are clearly after her enviable figure. Her slim frame has helped the starlet to earn a net worth of a whopping $30 million, according to Harper’s Bazaar, and secure her spot as a staple in the fashion world.
