Life & Style has learned that Khloé Kardashian is sparing no expense when it comes to her baby’s nursery. "She’s already spent $75,000," a source exclusively tells Life & Style. Khloé, 33, and her boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson, 26, are expecting the baby in early spring before the NBA season ends.
So Khloé's planning on being in Cleveland for her delivery, the source says, and has put more time and money into a nursery there than in her LA home. "It's very minimal in design," the source notes, "with a lot of light blues and acrylic accents."
The source tells Life & Style that Khloé bought the same $4,500 Vetro Lucite acrylic crib sister Kim has in her new daughter Chicago’s nursery, noting that the nursery also has a daybed with a $700 white faux-fur throw and chairs covered with $1,000 cashmere blankets, while the floors are natural wood with white lambskin rugs.
The Cleveland house has views of Lake Erie, which influenced Khloé's design scheme. "She wanted the calming effect of the water to play a big part in the nursery," the source says. "She wants it to feel like a spa lounge."
