Khloé Kardashian Says She Can ‘Survive Anything’ Following Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Scandal
Staying strong! Khloé Kardashian was forced to relive all of the heartache she felt when her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson cheated on her with her little sister’s former friend, Jordyn Woods as all the drama aired on part one of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians season finale on June 23. But the day before the episode aired, Khloé opened up about the lessons she’s learned and she also shared an update about how her life has been since going through such a betrayal.
“Life is about ups and downs and I don’t think I planned — obviously, I didn’t plan for any of this to happen — but the beauty is that we can survive anything in life and it’s about a strong mindset and a good support system,” the 34-year-old founder told E! News at the opening night of the night lounge, novelle at Mohegan Sun.
Khloé is doing everything in her power to live her best life, and she seems to be succeeding. The Good American founder had a girls night with bestie Malika and Khadijah Haqq at the new nightclub. Koko was all smiles at the public appearance, however, fans saw the opposite when Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired the first-part episode of the cheating scandal the following day.
In the episode, Kim Kardashian was the first person to hear the news while she was in the middle of doing the interviews segment for the show. “Today, I was getting ready for my interviews, literally same thing as the first time,” the KKW Beauty founder, 38, explained before seen calling her sisters. “My friend Larsa [Pippen] called me to explain that a reporter she knows was about to write a story that Jordyn and Tristan were at his home, late night or until 7 in the morning, making out. I immediately didn’t believe it, and I was like, ‘This can’t be true.’”
Kim then called Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian to deliver the unfortunate news, which eventually led Koko to confront Jordyn about it. “It’s really weird. She’s not giving me all the information,” Khloé said about the 21-year-old. “She was like, ‘He was trying to kiss me’ and was like, ‘I can’t remember if we did or didn’t.'”
Hopefully, things will get cleared up in the second part of the finale, which airs on Sunday, June 30.
