While Kim Kardashian seems excited about her latest project, Kimono Solutionwear, which she announced on Tuesday, June 25, unfortunately, many fans aren’t too happy with her promotional tactics.

The 38-year-old took to social media to show off a line of shapewear a.k.a undergarments meant to flatter your bod, no matter what you’re wearing. “Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year,” she explained. “I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years. Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work.”

However, fans aren’t too happy over the models the business mogul chose to promote her campaign. The photos Kim shared are all relatively thin women wearing different shades of the shapewear.

“All of these girls look identical though,” wrote one fan. “Nobody told Kim she should use different size models for this line,” tweeted a second fan. “How about using women of all different sizes? All those women are slim,” commented a third person.

On the bright side, it does look like a variety of sizes will be available. “Introducing Kimono Solutionwear™ for every body. Coming soon in sizes XXS – 4XL in 9 shades. #KimonoBody,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star tweeted.

Kim confessed that the lack of the ideal shapewear inspired her to create her own version. “I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn’t find a [shapewear] color that blended with my skin tone so we needed a solution for all of this,” she wrote.

In addition, the KKW Beauty founder revealed that her husband, Kanye West, offered his creative input. “Fun Kimono Fact — Kanye drew the Kimono logo,” she said. The rapper, 42, has dabbled in the fashion realm in recent years, so it’s no surprise she used his opinion.

Hopefully, Kim will include diverse body shapes in her promo pics moving forward.
