There's nothing like a mother-daughter bond! Khloé Kardashian went back to work earlier this month, and now she's opening up about the "anxiety" she's experienced with work-life balance after welcoming her precious baby girl, True Thompson.
"Going back to work after having True has definitely caused me a little anxiety. The days leading up to my very first day back were tough, but once I started going through the motions, everything fell into place. It's like riding a bike!" she wrote on her website. "On my first day back, True was perfect while I was gone. Plus, coming home was soooo much fun — I acted like I hadn't seen her in forever!"
But she can't help but feel nervous about being away from her little girl. "I know I'll be OK. I have to remind myself that she's in the best possible hands. It's way harder on me than it is for her, LOL— she doesn't even know what's happening!" KoKo added. "I've never had to juggle a baby and work at the same time, so it'll be interesting to see how I'll learn to handle everything."
Fortunately for Khloé, she's teaching herself to adjust quickly. "Women do it every single day, so I know I'll get through it — I'm just anxious because it's the unknown. But, I'm so fortunate and blessed that I have a job where I'm allowed to bring my daughter pretty often. I know how fortunate I am. However, I also think it's important to get my old 'normal' back together while incorporating my new one."
Earlier this month, the 34-year-old opened up about feeling conflicted and "anxious" about going back to work. "Tomorrow is my first day back to work," Khloé said while snuggling close to her daughter on Snapchat at the time. "I have missed a feeding here or there with True… but I've never missed multiple feedings in a day, so I have a ton of anxiety. I've been thinking 'the 6th, the 6th, I have to start work on the 6th' and I've been getting just anxious about it. I don't know how I'm going to leave her all day tomorrow. That's freaking me out," Koko confessed while barraging True with kisses on her shoulder. "But I gotta go back to work at some point… so I'll be OK, right mama?"
"I don't know what to do, because I love our routine together," Khloé said. It looks like the pressures of motherhood are really getting to her, since she finished her video by apologizing to Kourtney Kardashian for worrying about being away from her kids so much. "I take back all the times I've made fun of you," Khloé added.
Aside from focusing more on her career, it looks like the reality star has some other work to do as well. It was previously reported that Khloé and her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, are in couple's therapy. Kris Jenner's friend Lisa Stanley shared the news in a new interivew. "One thousand percent they are working through couples therapy," Lisa said on KIIS FM’s Celeb HQ. "She’s working hard, he’s working hard. You can’t just earn trust back in two months. Khloé was always going to try make this work, for a plethora of reasons. The first reason is she has a child now, and she feels very connected to [Tristan] in that way. The second reason is she loves him. She clearly loves the man," the family friend added. We hope they work it out for the sake of True!
