Kim Kardashian’s Exchange With Adrienne Bailon About North’s ‘Cheetah Girls’ Obsession Is Everything

Oh, Northie, if you only knew. On July 23, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to reveal that her little princess has a new obsession in the form of one very influential Disney Channel original movie — Cheetah Girls! Now, while it’s not uncommon for a five-year-old girl to love such a film, North’s relation to the classic flick hits a bit closer to home than the average kid.

For those of you who may have forgotten, Cheetah Girls star Adrienne Bailon dated North’s uncle, Rob Kardashian, for a hot minute back in the early 2000s. The pair eventually split after two years, but their relationship remains one of those unlikely wonders fans enjoy reminiscing about. Imagine how much different life would be had Rob married her? Well, Kim has a few ideas about that and she isn’t afraid to joke about it.

“Should I break the news to North that this could have been her auntie?!?!?!” Kim captioned a follow-up post on Instagram.

Adrienne, who played the famed Chanel in the movie, has since responded to Kim’s message and it’s everything you’d expect from a Cheetah Sister. “Just woke up to this! LOL,” she captioned her own Instagram post. “This hairstyle and this outfit. [It’s] HYSTERICAL,” she continued. Of course, the now-34-year-old also had to add a “CHEETAHLICIOUS” in there for good measure. 

As to whether Kim really plans on telling North about what could have been remains to be seen. In the meantime, she’ll just have to deal with Blac Chyna being her auntie, which, let’s be real, isn’t nearly as appealing. That said, seeing as Chyna has been all about her 18-year-old boyfriend these days, maybe she’s finally out of the KarJenner circle for good. Here’s hoping! As for North, keep watching those classics, girl.
