Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Skip Coachella Weekend 1 for a Vacay in Bali
No shows! It looks like Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian decided to stick it to the cool kids who were partying at Coachella 2019 weekend one. The couple jetted off to Bali to spend some time relaxing and vacationing during the famous festival’s opening weekend — and naturally, the makeup mogul documented the whole thing on social media.
“Had to come back to Bali right before our KUWTK Bali episode airs,” the 38-year-old captioned a photo of a pathway on a wooden bridge, covered in rain and surrounded by forest. If you forgot, the family went on a trip to Bali together back in October 2018, and even Kourtney Kardashian‘s ex, Scott Disick, was in attendance on the tropical vacation.
Kimmy took several photos and videos of the incredible views and posted them to her Instagram Stories on April 12. They seem to be staying in a bungalow perched at some substantial height, because you can see how tall the trees in the forest surrounding their place are.
She also took a video relaxing with her 41-year-old hubby and they honestly look so chill. We don’t blame them for getting away from the Coachella crazy for a minute, considering Kanye will be hosting his now-famous Sunday Service early on Easter Sunday at an off-site venue as part of the final day of the fest.
The soon-to-be mama-of-four even got up close and personal with an elephant! We can’t lie, it was pretty trippy to see her just taking a selfie next to a full grown wild animal. We get it, though. She looks too good to pass up the photo-op.
So far, it seems like Kendall Jenner was the only member of the Kar-Jenner clan to show up for Coachella weekend one, but we should expect to see the entire crew for weekend two — even Kris Jenner. Yeah, girl, you better be there.
