The Kardashian sisters may share plenty in common, but when it comes to their parenting style, they couldn’t be more different. While Kim and Kourtney Kardashian are super into health, it turns out the Skims founder, 39, is more lenient with what her kids eat.

“Kim is way less strict about the kids diet than Kourtney is,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “[Kim and Kourney] used to be complete opposites, and Kourtney’s kids would love being at Aunt Kimmy’s where they could eat pizza and brownies.”

However, over time, Kim has started taking after her older sis and ensuring her children eat better. “Kim has gotten a little more strict with their diets because they are in school and she wants them to have more well-rounded meals so they can focus and also not be so hyped up on sugar at school,” the insider divulged. We saw a glimpse of this recently when the KKW Beauty founder made her son Saint West choose between one of two desserts, rather than letting him have both.

Kim has four kids — North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm West — with husband Kanye West. On the other hand, Kourt and Scott Disick share three children — Mason, Penelope and Reign. The cousins are in similar age groups, which means you’d most likely expect them to like the same kind of snacks, but that’s not the case. “At Kourtney’s house, it’s no refined sugar. Seaweed is a common snack you’d see Kourtney’s kids eat! At Kim’s house, it’s more like pizza bites, but at least they’re all homemade snacks,” the source said, adding that “they have an awesome nanny.”

Kim is all about family, and she makes note of it at the dinner table. “She also enforces dinner together every night that she’s home and when she’s not home the kids all still eat together. She got that from Kourtney, so in that way they’re similar!  Kourtney does that for her kids.”

The sisters still share different perspectives, though. In September 2018, Khloé Kardashian revealed she would be choosing Kim to be her daughter True Thompson’s godmother, and she had an interesting reason.

“I can’t make anything official until after the baby is born, but I am going to probably have Kim as the legal guardian if, God forbid, something happens,” Koko, 35, said in a Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode at the time. “Just because I don’t know my parenting style until I have a baby, but from what I envision my parenting style to be, I do think it will be more like Kim — a little more stricter.”

It looks like Kim and Kourt balance each other out!
