Kim Kardashian Reveals She’s Gained ’18 Pounds’ This Year: ‘Sometimes You Fall Off’
Just because Kim Kardashian has a personal trainer and state-of-the-art home gym, doesn’t mean she’s always hitting her health and fitness goals. On Saturday, November 2, the longtime KUWTK star, 39, took to her Instagram Story to reveal that she’s not 100 percent pleased with her weight right now.
“OK, so we’re doing a night workout before my dinner, which I never do, with this one, but I figured we have to get into it at some point,” Kim revealed. “And yeah, I mean, sometimes you fall off and sometimes you really gotta get it together and this is one of my fallen off times where I am, I think, 18 pounds up from what I was about a year ago, a year and a half ago.” For reference, Kim said weighed 116 pounds in 2018.
Of course, the makeup mogul’s personal trainer, Melissa Alcantara, was in the room to help Kim get her sweat on. The Skims founder went on to explain that she and her fitness guru “have a major goal” to reach ahead of Kim’s 40th birthday on October 21, 2020. “To feel good, I just want to get it like, a really good goal weight and so that means working out at all costs,” Kim expressed. “It’s my eating. I work out but it’s like, my eating.” Girl, we hear you!
In the past, Kim followed a strictly ketogenic diet, just like her sister, Kourtney Kardashian. However, nowadays, it seems as though she’s reincorporated carbohydrates into her life. Given Kim’s unwavering dedication to her fitness regime, we have no doubt she’ll reach her goal weight ahead of schedule.
That said, the proud mother of four realizes life isn’t entirely about hitting the gym. “You’re never going to be perfect,” Kim told People in September. “I think life is about being happy and being confident.” Well-put, Kim! You’ve got this.
