Kim Kardashian Finally Weighs in on Husband Kanye West Saying They’re Moving to Chicago: ‘It Would Be Hard’
Lots of changes are happening for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who will soon be welcoming their baby boy via surrogate. As if having a new baby join the fam isn’t already a lot to handle, the 41-year-old rapper wants to move to his hometown of Chicago, but Kim, 38, doesn’t seem too crazy about the idea.
Kim, along with her two sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss details about their personal lives, and the reality star recalled exactly how she found out her husband is looking to relocate. The 51-year-old TV host shared an old clip from Kanye’s September 2018 open mic event at the Harold Washington Library Center, in which he announced that he’s “moving back to Chicago and never leaving again.” Jimmy then asked Kim when Kanye revealed to her the big news.
“He told me on that clip. So, I found out with everyone else,” she said. When asked if she is for sure moving to the windy city, Kim didn’t directly answer. Instead, she revealed the set plans for now, which include visiting, not moving. “We’re going to remodel his mother’s home, and he wants to stay there with all the kids. It’s a one-and-a-half bedroom home. So I think it would be fun for once in a while,” she explained. “I would love to spend more time in Chicago. It’s his home. It’s you know, what made him. And I definitely want to spend more time there. But you know, it would be hard.”
“It would be hard to keep up with all of you if you are in Chicago in a one-and-a-half bedroom home,” added Jimmy, before Kim nodded her head and agreed. It looks like this something Kim won’t be changing her mind on, especially since she and her hubby will need all the extra space since they will be becoming a family of six soon! Only time will tell.
